My Puerto Rico Writing Retreat

Hi! I'm Pam Stepansky, and I'm so glad you're here!

I’m a professional writer with experience writing for major digital and print outlets including Hearst newspapers and digital media sites. In my personal writing career, I also write poetry, personal essays, humor, stand-up comedy, and am currently at work on my first novel.

A few years back, I went to my first writing retreat, and it completely changed the way I thought about writing.

I used to think writing was something to be done alone at a desk.

That retreat shifted everything.

Being in community with other writers and sharing our energy, creativity, and feedback was electric. Since then, I’ve joined virtual and in-person writing groups in Pennsylvania, New York City, and Puerto Rico. Ever since I moved to this beautiful island, I’ve dreamt of hosting retreats here where we can come together and share our craft in a beautiful, tropical atmosphere.

This retreat is my way of inviting you into the energy I found at my first writing retreat, and to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico where time moves slowly and creativity is found in droves.

My Puerto Rico Writing Retreat is a space where we come together to nurture our writing, restore our creativity, and discover the joy of community.
